  UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEM (UAS) ACTIVITY OPS FOR ENFORCEMENT, INTELLIGENCE SURVEILLANCE RECONNAISSANCE SEARCH AND RESCUE IN MALAYSIA TERRITORIAL AIRSPACE

1  INTRODUCTION

1.1  The purpose of this AIP Supplement is to notify Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) activity by:

  1. Flight Operations Division – Civil Aviation Authority Of Malaysia

  2. Drone Unit, Air Operations Force - Royal Malaysia Police

  3. Drone Unit - Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia

  4. Drone Unit- Malaysia Civil Defence Force

for Enforcement, Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR), Search and Rescue (SAR) will take place in Malaysia Territorial Airspace.

1.2  Height of operation is 400FT AGL and below.

1.3  Each UAS pilot shall possess CAAM approved training, recognition, and approval.

1.4  Relevant Air Traffic Service (ATS) Unit will be notified of the specific area prior to the activity and will take necessary actions to ensure safety of all flights.

2  VALIDITY

2.1  This AIP Supplement supersedes NOTAMN A0039/25 and will remain in force until 31st December 2025. Any updates, changes and cancellation to this AIP Supplement will be notified through NOTAM.
